Yuko Kinoshita
is an Economist at the International Monetary Fund and Research
Fellow of the William Davidson Institute (University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor). Previously she was Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI
(Prague) and at the City University of New York, Hunter College.
Her presentation at wiiw will deal with the role of structural
reforms - financial reforms, trade liberalization, and privatzsation
- as determinants of FDI inflows in Latin America and Eastern
Europe.
This seminar series is an activity in the framework of FIW ('Forschungsschwerpunkt
Internationale Wirtschaft'), which is a project designed to
build a centre of excellence in research on International Economics,
funded by the Austrian Ministry of Economics and Labour.
