FDI and Financial Liberalization in Transition Economies and Latin America

Yuko Kinoshita is an Economist at the International Monetary Fund and Research Fellow of the William Davidson Institute (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor). Previously she was Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI (Prague) and at the City University of New York, Hunter College. Her presentation at wiiw will deal with the role of structural reforms - financial reforms, trade liberalization, and privatzsation - as determinants of FDI inflows in Latin America and Eastern Europe.
