| In this series, WIIW presents alternative development scenarios, assessing
the medium- and long-term outlook for economic developments of countries
in transition. The formal macroeconomic forecasting techniques are used
largely for consistency checks and the forecasts are based mainly on the
in-depth analysis of recent economic and political trends, and on WIIW
expert judgement regarding the likely future outlook.
